On December 11, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam hosted a symposium entitled "Development Trends of Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Industries and Opportunities for Vietnam" in Hanoi in coordination with the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC) and NVIDIA.

On the same day, December 11, Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh met with Mr. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA. Mr. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, said that NVIDIA will establish a semiconductor base in Vietnam to attract talents.

At the symposium, Mr. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, highly praised Vietnam's huge development potential and opportunities in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries, especially Vietnam's human resources in this field.

NVIDIA CEO Mr. Huang Renxun made it clear that artificial intelligence is a new wave that has emerged, and it can be said that it is the biggest wave ever. Vietnam is fully prepared, and now is the time for both sides to establish a strategic relationship in the field of artificial intelligence and chips.

NVIDIA is willing to work with Vietnam to improve artificial intelligence skills and infrastructure.

Vietnam Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said that Vietnam has many advantages to develop semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries; Vietnam promises to create favorable conditions for NVIDIA to do business in Vietnam.

Recently, in a joint statement between Vietnam and the United States, both sides emphasized that the breakthrough cooperation between the two countries is innovation and high technology, including semiconductor chips and artificial intelligence. The US government invited Vietnam to participate in the semiconductor initiative within the framework of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Therefore, the cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and NVIDIA Group to hold a symposium entitled "Development Trends of Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Industries and Opportunities in Vietnam" is an important milestone, and it is also a firm commitment of the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and even the Vietnamese government in its determination to promote the development of semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries.

As of now, NVIDIA Group has more than 27,000 employees worldwide and its operating income is close to US$27 billion.
