On the evening of December 5, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh walked with Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of US technology giant NVIDIA, on the streets of Hanoi to experience Hanoi's nightlife, culture, tourism and the cold of early winter.
Pham Minh Chinh and Jensen Huang visited the Ngoc Son Temple, admired the night view of Hoan Kiem Lake, listened to the explanations of the Pen Tower, Inkstone, Qi Xuqiao and Ngoc Son Temple by the guide, especially the story of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hoan Kiem giant turtle, and burned incense in the ruins area.
Afterwards, Pham Minh Chinh and Jensen Huang visited the ancient street area together, talked cordially with local residents and tourists, and visited bookstores and souvenir shops. In the slightly cold weather and sincere and friendly atmosphere in Hanoi, Pham Minh Chinh invited Jensen Huang and NVIDIA to taste Hanoi street food such as spring rolls, fried sour meat and Bamboo Beer.
Jensen Huang was more interested in the bustling and lively atmosphere of Hanoi's ancient street area. Hanoi's ancient streets are more lively at night, but they still retain the traditional beauty of the ancient streets.
Earlier, Pham Minh Chinh held a discussion with Huang Renxun at the government headquarters; witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnamese government and NVIDIA on the establishment of the NVIDIA AI R&D Center and the Vietnam AI Data Center. This is the result of the joint efforts of both parties since Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited NVIDIA's headquarters in September 2023 and suggested that the company cooperate with Vietnam in developing technology.
